Halsey has just shared an incredibly sweet insight into their life as a new parent, three weeks after giving birth to baby Ender.
On Sunday, the 26-year-old singer posted a photo dump showing Ender’s nursery (we want that neon rainbow light for our own bedrooms, please), matching tie-dye onesies – and their postpartum stretch marks.
It’s this unedited snap of Halsey’s stomach that has attracted their fans’ attention, with many praising them for sharing something that challenges society’s unrealistic, damaging beauty ideals, particularly post-pregnancy.
All the celebrities who’ve welcomed babies this year, including Tan France who has just become a dad for the first time!
One fan commented: “Wear those tiger stripes proud mama!! Love to see it ???”, while another said: “THANK YOU FOR POSTING YOUR STRETCH MARKS!!!!! ?”. Another added: “”Finally a celebrity who shows imperfections after childbirth instead of a perfect toned body right after. You’re such a badass!!”
“I love love love that you posted ur cute little stretch marks. I’m 31 weeks pregnant and I keep getting paranoid I’ll get them and having to remind myself it doesn’t matter,” said another fan.

Despite how common stretch marks in pregnancy are – one survey found that almost half of women (46.7%) developed stretch marks in pregnancy – many of us still feel uncomfortable or even embarrassed about our stripes, and they can take a toll on our self-confidence. Whether you like them, loathe them or simply don’t give a damn, seeing high-profile celebrities with large followings, like Halsey, using their platform to challenge toxic body ‘ideals’ is something we need to see more of.
