Are you up for taking part in an undeniably wild experiment, to find love?
Love Is Blind – which first aired in February 2020 on Netflix, just before the depths of Covid-19 lockdown began – is taking new recruits to meet the potential love of their lives in the “pods”.
The premise of the show basically involves groups of men and women dating each other inside indoor pods that prevent them from seeing each other – making them, you guessed it, blind – and ends with each person making or accepting a proposal of marriage.
Then, after living together for a short period, each couple has to decide whether they’re going to make it down the aisle. Intense.
Love Is Blind is coming back for two more seasons! Here’s what we know so far…
As part of Netflix’s largest reality casting call ever, the streaming service is now looking for a new crop of reality TV stars to take part in Love Is Blind – as well as other shows like Queer Eye, Floor is Lava, The Circle and Too Hot to Handle.
In order to apply, you need to upload a video with a runtime of one minute or less of you being “your fabulous self”. “Show us your real self, no ring light needed,” it says. So if you’re up for a blind dating – and potential marriage – experience, or are just desperate to meet the Queer Eye guys, send in your reels ASAP.
Why has ‘Love Is Blind’ become such a cultural phenomenon?
Netflix’s Twitter page for the UK and Ireland posted an exciting tweet this week: “Are you a pro at playing FLOOR IS LAVA? Need the QUEER EYE guys to transform your life? Wanna meet your soulmate through a wall on LOVE IS BLIND? Head to NETLFIXREALITY.COM and you could be on Netflix.”

This comes after the “OG pod squad” from season 1 reunited for Love Is Blind: After The Altar, a special three episodes where we find out what the married (and jilted) couples are up to now. As expected, it brings *all the drama*.
