GLAMOUR Tries: We tried Dr. Jart+’s Cryo Rubber So Cool Duo face masks and these are our honest thoughts
On GLAMOUR Tries this week, Beauty Editor Lottie Winter tested Theragun’s RecoveryAir System – a pneumatic compression system that increases circulation and reduces soreness and fatigue in the legs using clinically-proven recovery technology.

Lottie begins to unpack the boots, describing their purpose as she goes: “So you know when you wake up in the morning and your legs feel really heavy or you have some water retention? Well these are basically going to squeeze you out like a tube of toothpaste, and they’re also really good for muscle recovery. So let’s see!”
The RecoveryAir System comes with two boots (one for each leg) and you plug it into the hexagonal device and start your compression treatment beginning from 15 minutes up to 60 minutes.
Lottie slips the boots on and then sits comfortably before she turns it on. “I’m going to turn it on now for 15 minutes. It’s got a little pressure knob so I think I’ll start low and then see if I need to go up a bit.”
Switching it on, she describes the feeling: “It starts to fill with air around my feet and then squeezes up and gets fuller and fuller and ends up super tight all the way down the leg. It feels really nice, a bit like a hug but a really intense squeezy one. Once it fills up it deflates and then goes round in a cycle.”
“I don’t know how to explain it but my legs feel really light, like a weight has been lifted. It’s really great for muscle recovery, lymphatic drainage, circulation and all those wonderful things, plus I’ve just seen that they make one for arms and core! The only downside for me with this product is that it’s £599 for the boots, which is a pretty big investment. It’s probably only worth it if you’re really into fitness, or you’re an athlete, or you experience a lot of swelling and discomfort.” Says Lottie.
